If you are interested in increasing the security of your WY account, we recommend you to enable two-factor authentication to log in to the WY Panel.
To enable this option please log in to your account and go to My Account – Change Password located in the left column. In the screen that appears just click on the second tab called Two-factor authentication.
You can activate two-factor authentication in two ways:
- OTP – One Time Password
- SMS – verification by SMS key
One-Time Password
To complete the setup just scan the displayed QR code to your smartphone via a two-factor authentication application such as Google authenticator (iOS / Android) or Authy. Once the QR code has been scanned, the WY Panel account will be created in the app and a 6-digit number will appear, which you will need to enter into the WY Panel verification field, then click Activate. However, you must enter this code before it expires.
Once you have activated the two-factor authentication, you will always be asked to enter the code from the verification application when logging into the WY Panel.
Activation of two-factor authentication by SMS
In the Two-factor authentication section, select SMS – verification by SMS key.
Then enter your phone number in the form with country code, e.g. +421.902123456.
You will receive a verification SMS with a key that you need to enter in your WY Panel field.
Once you enter the SMS key, two-factor authentication will be enabled on your account. You can cancel verification any time by click on the red Deactivate button.
The next time you enter your login information, you will always receive an SMS with a key that you only need to enter when signing in.
